Vogue presents "Fabrics in Motion"

Tonight was Paige's first runway show. She pulled double duty as both a designer and model. She was first in the line-up and I don't think I heard a louder reaction to any of the other designers. She sure knows how to strut her stuff. She was very excited and could not be calmed down for the hour backstage pre-show. One of the other designers asked if she could design a childrens wear line so that Paige and Taylor could both model it in the next show, how cool is that?! I must say I am very proud of her for holding her own being the only one that wasn't currently attending or a recent graduate of the many fashion institutes here.

Impromptu photo shoot

A few quick disclaimers on our photo shoot:
1. I don't know how the girls ended up with matching outfits, I'm really not a fan of matching. They were bought at different stores more than a week apart and I didn't even realize it until I got home with Taylor's outfit, but Paige thought it would be fun to match Taylor when she changed out of her uniform today.
2. Paige is actually pretty good at taking pictures...can you guess which ones?!
3. It is quite difficult to take a picture of yourself with an slr, let alone trying to do it with a 21 month old that's not in a great mood sitting in your lap.

With those out of the way. Enjoy.

Coming Soon...

After almost 6 years of having kids, we've finally purchased a video camera. So I'll post some videos soon so you can see just how crazy our kids really are.

Oh ya, and Paige will be a designer/model in a fashion show for Vogue Fabrics here in Chicago. Let's just say she's um...STOKED...and is telling EVERYONE about it.

Microsoft Midwest Winter Party

SuperBowl Baby!

So last night we had our annual SuperBowl party, and while I didn't care for either team, I'm a Manning girl myself, we had a blast helping Sarah and Robbie cheer on Sarah's beloved Steelers. While there was a little contention, namely Daylan and Tyson trying to get Sarah riled up as much as possible...it didn't work and her hometown boys pulled it out in the end. As you can tell from the pictures we pulled in a good crowd this year, including Kehinde, from our ward in AR and his family, and Olivier experiencing his first American SuperBowl.

The last picture is of the lovely super soft extra sofa Daylan purchased for the SuperBowl, so if you're in the market...we have the perfect couch for you!!
