Hello World! I'm BACK!!

Okay, so I don't have a good excuse as to why it's been a month and 10 days since my last post, lets just say...laziness. I'll try my best to catch up, but honestly, I'm just not that exciting or funny as some of you out there. Let me start with a follow up to my last entry about Paige's disorder. They determined that she has a mild case of reflux and so far, no serious damage has been done. They have put her on antibiotics nightly for the next year, and they will retest her again next summer, if she tests positive again at that point, they will test Taylor. Paige is excited that she gets to take medicine everynight, and never lets us forget, however when we told her she would be tested again next year she said, " I don't think I'll really like that." On other Paige news, she starts kindergarten in less than two weeks. We finally finished up all of her school shopping tonight. She is very excited to get to wear her uniforms, and we let her indulge in lots of crazy knee high socks, including argyle, stripes, and even socks with buttons, hey she has to show her personality somehow.

Now onto Taylor. Let's see. She's stubborn, crazy, hyper, loud, and just all over the place. Then again would you expect anything less out of one of my kids. She goes in for her 15 month check up next week so I'll have updated numbers then, but for now, just know that she's going into 2t's purely for height, waste size, she's still in a 6-12 months...thank you gap for adjustable waists. She's starting to talk a little here and there. She still refuses to say Dad, but fortunately she will say it in sign language. Right now her favorites are ball, park, and shoes...and she insists on everyone putting on their shoes. While my best friend Charity was in town her son Ryan decided to mark his territory and bit Taylor on the cheek, almost 4 weeks later the marks are still there, sorry boys, I guess she's taken.

Daylan. Well he'll be 29 on Paige's first day of school. Ya, he's getting old. Works going great, he's busy as always, but thankfully he can always arrange his schedule around anything we need to do, and normally works from home on Fridays, well, stays home and plays most of the time.

Me. I'm the same ole same ole. I'm trying to get us all back into our normal rutine, while adjusting Paige to her new one. Let me prefice this next statement by the fact that I normally can only "handle" having company for about 2-3 days max, and this dates back to early childhood. I am also very particular about the way things go in my house, I'm probably just a control freak, but my house is my job, and so being a perfectionist even the laundry has to be folded a certain way, and clothes hung in the closet in a certain order. For the past three weeks we have had company at our house. Remember when I said 2-3 days max?! Let's just say I'm frazzled, exhausted, and very happy to once again have quiet. Not that I didn't love seeing our visitors, but I just don't handle it very well. As much as I don't like cleaning, I'm actually enjoying it this week, becuase I get to reorganize my house...and I find cleaning like that truely enjoyable because I like to purge when I clean and you just find all kinds of old stuff when you clean out the back of closets...it just brings me pure bliss. I have no clue if any of that made any sense.

Back to my laziness, I don't really feel like uploading all the pictures from Charity and Ryan's visit, so if you'd like to see our many adventures, check out her blog from the link on the right.

Well, I think that's enough for now...I'll try to do better!
